How to save password manually into Google Password Manager

Step by step to save password manually into Google password Manager ‐

1. Sign into Google account
   
   You should sign into google account before saving password into password manager otherwise you are unable to access password manager.


2. Click on three dots in chrome software that is at the corner. You have to navigate to the password manager setting by following the below path.
   
   Three dot > Password and autofill > Google password manager
   
   Note‐
   To access the password manager on a pc or laptop,you should have to set the password lock on a pc or laptop. To access it on mobile ,you should have password lock on mobile screen.Without password protection you can not access the password manager on mobile.



3. Password manager window will appear.You should find the Add button.click on the Add button and another add new password window will appear on the screen.In the add new password window following fields that are present that are explained below ‐
   
   
   • Site ‐
     You have to enter the url of the website that username and password belong to.
     For example,suppose you are saving username and password of amazon then enter www.amazon.com
   
   
   • Username ‐
     Copy or type the username of the website.
     For example,suppose you are saving login details of amazon then type username myusername@gmail.com
   
   
   • Password‐
     Enter the password of the website into the password field .Make sure that you are saving the current password for this site.To save password manually , you have to know the username and password to add into the password manager.
   
   
   • Note ‐
     Any additional information about the login details can be entered into the field.It is just like a message to add additional information about login credentials.This is optional.


4. After filling the site,username,password and note, click on Save button.The passwords are manually added into the google password manager.You can also edit password.Done,your username and password are added manually into password manager.

How to edit the password that has already been saved?

   Click on the password that you want to edit.The window will appear.Click on Edit button then you can edit the username,site,password,Note.After completing editing click on Save button.Done,your password are edited and saved into password manager.
